Our lab serves the small fruit industry in central Florida. We are located at the University of Florida’s Gulf Coast Research and Education Center in Hillsborough County. This region is home to over 10,000 acres of strawberries, produced in the winter months.
We specialize in applied and basic aspects of strawberry, blueberry, and blackberry entomology.
We aim to increase knowledge of insect and arthropod biology and ecology within small fruit systems to improve Florida production and sustain its agroecosystems.
